Ok if you can read that chunk, good for you. LOL.

All that i can say is, I dared to stand up and ask questions. Like the 2nd workshop. The workshops were pretty cool (: and the 5 of us started a new club. All in all, it was definitely well worth. Here are my reflections for ytd:

Today was a fulfilled day filled with many learning experiences for me. I think the most beneficial workshop was the 2nd one which I mentioned above, but many people were put to sleep by the speaker’s tone of voice. The dialogue which was held early in the morning really appealed to the youth to speak up, or else our world would be having a very bad haircut. Poverty was the main issue addressed in the dialogue and the Bangladesh people really raised their concerns about poverty in their country. I felt that this was indeed very insightful as hearing the way the Bangladesh people address it, I could tell that it was an issue which they wished to due with as soon as possible. All the workshops that I went to brought up the point on the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals). Launched in 2000, the main aim of this goal is to reduce poverty, fight AIDS/HIV, achieve universal primary education, gender equality etc. These are issues that will take years to accomplish. But now, it is already mid-2006 and we do not see much being done. Will the goals ever be accomplished by the deadline 2015?

Seriously, youth of today should really play a part in acheiving the MDGs.
Stand up &make your stand heard today!

Happy early b'dae cheryl and dad(:

/ believe in wonderland,
with you in my mind
it's not that hard to believe
i'm in wonderland
and that's where I am
only a place to where we know
and never escape into reality
plunge into a fantasy

just about my love
